This training course is delivered alongside your organisation and will include the integration of relevant in-house inductions and policies wherever required.
Medication Administration Training - Delivery and Duration
This course is normally delivered by Zoom Webinar and provides 2.5 hours of interactive learning. If being undertaken as a refresher, in addition, the course includes 1.5 hours of independent study which will be set by the trainer.
As part of the course, staff will need to have access to their organisation’s policies and procedures for the administration of medication. Relevant online resources and textbooks will be recommended as part of the training.
We recommend clients new to medication administration undertake the course in person either in a classroom setting or at your premises/service. The in-person training is delivered as a 6-hour course.
Assessment & Certification
Training includes immediate formative assessment via a test or scenario, and all attendees receive a certificate of completion upon successfully finishing the course.
